Engineered Valve Systems

Mokveld, based in Gouda, the Netherlands, designs and builds engineered axial valve systems for critical control and safety applications. Their streamlined, pressure-balanced axial design delivers high capacity, low noise and anti-cavitation performance for water transmission, pumping stations, dams and hydropower.

Axial Control Valve

A one-piece, full-port axial body with pressure-balanced trim gives high capacity with low turbulence and noise. Anti-cavitation trims handle large pressure drops in waterworks, dams, desalination, turbine control and pump start-up. 2" to 72", ASME 150-2500.

Axial Check Valve

A non-slam, spring-assisted axial check valve with a venturi-shaped full-port body for very low pressure loss. Fast closing limits backflow and water hammer at pump discharges and waterworks, with metal-to-metal sealing and no maintenance. 2" to 84".

Axial Surge Relief Valve

A high-capacity, pilot-operated axial surge relief valve that runs on line pressure alone, with no nitrogen or external power. It snaps open at set pressure to protect transmission lines from surge, with 50-100% more capacity than a comparable globe valve.
